From the beginning, Muslim Mission Center Richmond/ Masjid Taqwa has been driven by the interests and involvement of our incredible and engaged community. We are a growing Islam-focused worship group and constantly improving our faith and enhancing the Islamic experience. We are a great resource, offering opportunities for users to be active in a variety of topics and to engage with each other in an interesting and safe environment.

Mission Statement

• To serve Allah Almighty and His creation by promoting equality, justice and peaceful coexistence through education, community service, and outreach programs.

• To promote the human values that Islam emphasizes: brotherhood, equality, justice, mercy, compassion, and peace.

• To Carry out Islamic activities in pursuance of Islam as a complete way of life, present Islamic principles to interested people (Non-Muslims), and carry out social, cultural, and other religious activities.

• To promote a greater understanding and respect for and among people of all ethnicities, colors, and genders, and to promote friendly relationships between Muslims and Non-Muslims
